Farms & Saddles

Unforutnaley, Monday and Tuesday I was not able to get access to a computer let alone the internet.

Monday

I am staying with family memebers that own a farm fortunatelyI got to visit the farm and feed the horses and cattle. Unfortunately a week before my arrival the saddle for the horses were stolen, therefore the horse riding that was planned for the day had been cancled, however I was able to subsitute it for acorn and nut picking. I had never visited a farm before therefore the experince being entirley new. The smell was not as bad as I expected. Knowing I was in a different enviroment than I am accustomed to I was trying my best tto being open minded to it all. Everything went smoothly and I tried my best to experince it all o the fullest. However petting the horses has becomed the scariest thing I have ever done. I had never been so close to a horse before and hadnt realized that they are indeed very large creatures. After several attempts of petting the horse I finally gave up and just as I turned to leave the horse relaxed and I was finally able to stroke it. I tried to get on it despite having a saddle, and lets just say I don not recommend trying that at all.
